WELCOME

Celler Castañé is a shop located in Maresme (Barcelona) specializing in biodynamic and natural wines, founded in 1971.

We also have a wide assortment of artisanal raw milk cheeses, which you can taste with a good wine in our tasting area.

At Celler Castañé you will find a selection of bulk wines in century-old barrels, where we carefully store the wines.

Our priority is to offer our customers top quality products.

ABOUT US:

Who are we?

We are Jordi and Montse Sumiller, owners of Celler Castañé. We are in Argentona, a small town in Maresme about 30 minutes drive from Barcelona. We started this project 10 years ago when we decided to take over and make our own the family business that has been running since 1971.

Jordi studied for a Sommelier Diploma at the ESHOB Hospitality School (Barcelona) and later obtained the WSET Wine & Spirit Education Trust (Level III) qualification.

In our store you can find all kinds of natural wines, whether Catalan, Spanish or international. We love to share our passion for good wines and make them known. We try to have a careful selection of wines from small winegrowers where behind each wine there is a person, a family, a project...
