WINE TASTINGS AND PAIRINGS

We offer 4 different types of tastings so you can choose the one that best suits you. To arrange them, you can send us a contact form.

NATURAL WINE TASTINGS

An introductory tasting to the world of natural wine. It consists of meeting with your group of friends (small groups of 4 to 8 people during store hours), and coming to Celler Castañé for a tasting of natural wines (whites, reds, cavas, sparkling wines, ... ). The tasting will last approximately 1 hour and will be led by our sommelier.

- Hours: (Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM)

- Tasting of 3 wines proposed by our sommelier.

- Price: 20€/person.

(No food is included in this option).

CONVENTIONAL TASTINGS:

These are pre-arranged wine tastings where owners and oenologists from different wineries visit us to explain their wines, which is very interesting for discovering new wines and wine regions. The tastings are usually on the first Friday of each month, followed by an optional dinner.

Each tasting has a different cost, as we propose events, we set the price. The tastings are for small groups, between 10-15 people, in a very familiar and pleasant atmosphere.

We provide information about tasting dates through social media, emails, or WhatsApp.

CATALAN CHEESE PAIRING TASTING:

A cheese pairing tasting, this consists of 3 glasses of wine (a sparkling, a white, and a red), with 1 platter of artisan raw milk cheeses (per person), accompanied by toasts. The tasting is held during store hours and by prior reservation.

- Hours: (Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM).

- Tasting of 3 wines (whites, reds, cavas, and sparkling wines), proposed by our sommelier.

- Platter of 5-6 artisan raw milk cheeses (per person)

- Price: 30€/person.

VERMOUTH PAIRING TASTING:

This tasting is designed for a Saturday or Sunday midday, in an informal setting. It consists of 3 different glasses of vermouth, accompanied by a pairing,

(anchovies, cockles, Gordal olives, mussels, etc...).

- Hours: (Saturday or Sunday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM).

- Price: 25€/person.
